Lady Hale Lecture Theatre – Lady Hale
The new University School of Law is housed in the recently-completed £10 million Lady Hale Building. The main lecture theatre within the Law School seats up to 240 delegates, including specially designed spaces for wheelchair users.
The theatre is equipped with excellent audio visual facilities enabling presentations of the highest professional standard. The networking space outside the theatre is ideal for exhibitions.
Chapman Theatres I, II, III, IV, V– Chapman Building
The Chapman Building houses five lecture theatres with seating capacities varying from 150 to 500. All have comfortable tiered seating, excellent lighting and are equipped with modern audio visual equipment. The entrance to the Chapman Building is via a large foyer area which is suitable for registration and arrival refreshments. An Art Gallery on the 2nd floor provides space for exhibitions and refreshments.Lecture Theatre – Mary Seacole Building
The £22 million, purpose-built Mary Seacole building next to Salford
Crescent station is only 2 years old and houses students of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport, radiography, social work and complementary medicine.
The five-storey building includes a large, glass-walled entrance hall, offices and classrooms as well as the main lecture theatre. The theatre seats 300 delegates and is designed to the most modern standards as well as having excellent audio visual facilities. The large airy refectory in the adjoining Allerton Building is excellent for exhibitions and catering out of term time or at the evenings and weekends.
Peel Hall – Peel Building
This is an elegant Victorian Concert Hall with tiered seating for 300. Peel Hall is housed in the Peel Building which stands proudly at the front of the Peel Park Campus. The Peel Building was home to the Royal Salford Technical Institute when it was founded in 1896. This magnificently sized building is situated at the front of the Peel Park Campus, clearly visible from the main road into Manchester. The Building comprises a main hall with a spacious entrance foyer, suitable for registration. The Hall can seat up to 1020 people in flat, theatre style seating with 2 main aisles facing towards a large raised stage area. The Maxwell Hall boasts high speed, wireless internet access. The area has removable seating making it the ideal venue for presentations, meetings, exhibitions and concerts.
